My honest opinion right now is the author went insane after the blood empire arc
All the gulan arc was so unnecessary, could have made ji bai go save ji yue right then but no, shit go crazy, genderswap shit and then confusing stuffs happen now we dont know if ji yue is still alive or it just gulan emperor now
The only thing that was helpful toward the story progression in the gulan arc was knowing the otherworldly gods and cursed lord is from the elfs
Our boy ji bai is gone now or not idk but literally no mention of him i hope we get to see him come back soon with power up

RRANT AND SPOILERS AHEAD - DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT A BIT OF IT SPOILED - STory 3-4/10 (due to later chapters, TRANSLATION -100000000000000 (it's horrible) Read most of it, after the first translator, it gets REALLY hard to follow what's going on. Another group that doesn't care about gender, nor past or present tense (WHICH CHANGES THE STORY) not to mention - the names KEEP changing, and i don't mean from group to group. Page to page they change.
I have seen more ccompetant work from a mcdonalds employee. IT'S SO HARD TO FOLLOW.
Now, granted, the story is decent - but gets weird later on..and honestly quite pointless, with no resolutions. One was a villian, and now they're just sorta..there.
But, the author, and their antics aside - if you can't tell who's talking about who - or like i said, past to present tense...let alone some random terms that are in NONE of the other chapters.. for NO reason - just out of nowhere.
The "translation" (used loosely, as if i have to translate and english translation to english AGAIN so it's legible, so i can tell what the heck is going on) - it is not translated.
Characters can barely be followed - but not really. There's maybe 3-4 bubbles per chapter that make sense. Rest is at times, gibberish.
The pacing is off, there's unnecessary villains and no resolution that amounts to, "i wanna move onto the next arc so you're not a villian now" "okay" and they let it go.
And again - coupled with a POOR (and that's a compliment" translation, that makes it near impossible to follow, let alone honestly gave me a headache trying to process and follow...it's insulting to us as readers let alone the base material.
For your own sake, if you read this far. - it may be a decent series but DO NOT read it - until there is a PROPER Translation - into PROPER english. Noone should be cheering for a job like this. And it's gone on quite long enough, enough stories have been ruined. This team should be removed, and a new team, a proper one, should translate it PROPERLY (from the beginning) before ANYONE else pays this story the time of day.
Now - at three forty six..where i stopped, the main dude is now a chick, and is apparently some ancient warrior - which nothing is said..he was trying to rescue his sister, but is now some love interest for some ancient..that was an enemy and is now just sorta, "there". The story has it's faults.
But that means less - when you can't TELL WHO THE HECK IS WHO AND WHO'S TALKING INT HE FIRST PLACE.
Story gets a 4 - for later chapters, and what i can piece together. The translation - 100000000000000000...as this is something that should NEVER happen, nor ever be done. Basic level of quality - and translations done PROPERLY - after all, they're translated to be read, and if you can't read it - really...what's the point?
Not recommended for anyone - until there's a proper translation to english. Not, "we copied and pasted it so it must be right" english...i mean, real english. Do yourself a favor, and skip it, let alone anything by the same "translation" groups.

Okay... even I'm a little confused now, so the vampire princess's soul is apparently a multi-headed dragon???
See I understood when the male knight became synthesised together with the princess so there was only One Mind now, and how they got trapped in human form which later became an alternate form they could assume at will, okay sure.
I get that they were undercover with the Gulan Queen to regain their vampire powers and almost got mind-broken into being a loyal Gulan knight, I get that this new human form was the result of calling upon the human side's bloodline that traces back to Saint Lun, and making some kind of contract with that ancestor spirit, and that they've been dealing with an Eldritch Cult that likes to possess people.
But the "my soul is a multi-headed dragon" thing I have no explanation for. Oh and the fact that their soul once punted out of their body was able to manifest physically as the human knight form with no adequate explanation, before they retake their body, and are still able to take on both human and vampire form.
I guess the vampire nation does apparently have some historic ties to the now-extinct Dragon nation? Judging by Milo still serving as an attendant to the queen, but the Demon who took her body seemed to think the shape of that soul marks the princess as a dimensional outsider as well, which doesn't scan with literally anything we know about their history.

The story fell off after the first 100 chapters, and now it’s all weird and messed up. I guess this happens whenever you decide to not end the story, and keep going
The story is named "The blood princess and the knight" but we haven't seen the knight for about 100 chapters, and now i'm not even sure about the identity of the princess.
The author lost us and lost himself. That's what happens when you start too many plots without ending them, it just become terribly confusing.
There are too many "plot twist" regarding characters.
So much that i don't think even one stayed the same from the start.
And last thing going through my mind, i'll take it from another comment but so many death, what is even the point to struggle anymore.
I had fun reading it until chapter 371 but it is too frustrating

Yes. That personality (Ji Bai) was discarded by Bai Ji and replaced by Bai Jin. So we'll probably never see it again.

What a silly development.
This story is so silly.
tbh I do agree. I think they started wanting the story to go in one direction, but in the middle of it they scrapped the original plans and decided a new diectio that the story would go, and began making things up as they went, but most of the things they did ended up not being good at all. Not to mention all the characters and things that are introduced, do 1 thing or 2 in a scene and never appears or are mentioned again.

spend a week to finished from 0 to the latest(374) here's my review :
story :
probably the "strongest" element (not in the good way), a lot of people get confused about the story even from the beginning and especially the gulan war arc/volume 10. me to got confused quite a lot from the beginning, but just like how you connect a thread it's actually quite simple to understand it. It's not like the author just throw a bunch of nonsense... well kinda is, but there's an explanation for everything, it just that it's so short people will forget about it especially the one who follow this on going. like for example (tiny spoiler) what happened to ke'er in vol 10, a lot of people got confused why she's like that, but actually in the previious ch it got forshadowed/explained in the story but it's so brief like only 2-3 pages and the fact that this is a manhua where 1 ballon dialog is a lot of text, it's understandable why people got confused/forget about it.
in conclusion you need to remember tiny detail and explanation bc if you forget about it, the story won't make sense. and if you don't understand what happened just go to the comment section sometimes(specially in the beginning vol) there's people that explain what happen
the story only have 3 more volume, the main story will end in the vol 13. let's hope that the author and artist finished the story until the end. and btw the manhua and novel volume is equal but not the ch(about 1,5 novel ch per manhua ch)

this is the best thing from the manhua the art from 0 to 374 is stable no downgrade even in the vol 10 the art is much better, i love the comedy aspect of the art (idk if the artist change or only the style). one of the problem of manhua for me is the art, it's always looks bland and trash, but this one i love it.
not the best work i've read but not the worst one aswell, 8,5/10. and because i don't read that much manhua this is by far the best manhua i've ever read.

Bai Jin wasn't a personality but rather a persona, she was trying to do, and Ji Bai's consciousness was just sealed.
Though I hope they fixed this by making a LN and fixing every plotholes, make the fight longer and epic, be thorough about the Cosmo explanation, some people and skill will be there(especially those that are Forgotten(skills from chapter 100+ and Theta/Sita(daughter of Bai Ji)😭
