So precious I had to walk away and do a chore so I could come back and finish. So precious. When I get home from work I am going to gush about this to my wife who will look at me like I am crazy, but smile at her husband who loves love stories so much because of his own love story. So cute. Yet another awesome way to propose. My son learned how to do some woodworking so he could make a a home made ring box to propose to his wife.

Did I see the box coming? Duh.
And did I start squirming when they got to the bridge? Yes.
Did I grin widely and kick my leg up when he proposed? Absolutely.

(Does this make up for my frustration with Aoko earlier? A bit.)

Aw, how cute... And a bit funny that she worked on the box he used for the proposal. Very cute, makes it even more special, but still a bit funny to me.

I guess it was really clueless of me to not guess that that box was supposed to be for a proposal. I didn't even imagine before seeing the comments in another chapter that he could be thinking of proposing so soon. They had been dating for only a few months at most when he made the box and I think they still haven't reached the one-year mark. But well, why not? They are main characters of a romance novel, at the end of the story and after their one big conflict of interests. They'll be fine 😆

Thanks for the chapter!

Oh shit! Before she dumped him, he was going to propose so she'd feel less anxious about him leaving. And presumably because he wanted to. I'm a little mad at her again lol. If she wasn't so self-destructive and only thinking about her own feelings, it could have been resolved with less drama. But maybe their relationship will be stronger now for having been broken and repaired. Ooh, it'd be cool if they repaired the broken mug as a metaphor for their relationship. Bonus points if the repair method strengthens it.
