My mother is a ceramist too and we discovered a new interest in Hasami ware and gosu blue ! We have a question about this blue and we hope it's not too much to ask... We are wondering how the gosu blue is made. Is it a glaze ? Or an engobe ? If it's a glaze, how does it not leak when baked ? What is the composition of this beautiful blue ? We found it's cobalt but not more information. We're so curious about it ! We assume that Lore_likes_cats might be a ceramist so maybe you'll have the answer !
