Oddly enough, I think these two are still the most explicitly romantic. Shiragiku is kinda going for it too, but due to the drunkness kinda not really? The plot does seem to center around her quite a bit though.

As much as I appreciate the straightforwardness I find it odd that sweetshop lady is so quick to make everyone fail the Bechdel test given she’s spoken to him maybe twice and knows that due to their living situation they don’t really have a choice in “liking” him or not. On top of that, hayato has already made it clear he’s not entertaining anything till the cafe is back in full swing to akane so her pushing this now just seems like her stirring shit for the sake of it instead of trying to…well trying to do anything other that stir shit I guess, bro is 18 and basically has to baby sit a bunch of actual college students so maybe hold off on the love drama until it’s confirmed that you & your “family” aren’t gonna be out on the street in the next year
