On page 1 he's probably saying "so it wasn't a live broadcast" because the current translation doesn't make sense ("so that was a live broadcast, right?").
He was with her all day Sunday, so she couldn't have been on a live broadcast on Sunday.
(from what I understand it'd be more likely for the program to be live, and it probably was, but the kid accused Nishimura of being in that program, so the program couldn't possibly be live by Takeda's logic)

I haven't checked the raws but the tranlator probably translated じゃない as ", right?" even though it's supposed to be a negation in this specific case.

Two things:
1) The raw was それって生放送のやつだよね, so there was no actual じゃない in there.
2) I'm a bona fide retard who uploaded the wrong version of the page. I fixed it.

Ya I was just guessing at that part, didn't occur to me that the mistake could also be on the other sentence.

(for future context, the original read as "Oh, so that was a live broadcast, right? Otherwise I don't think that was Nishimura-san", as opposed to the now fixed "Oh, so that was a live broadcast, right? Then I don't think that was Nishimura-san")

I'm still not 100% with that sentence, if it was me I'd take the "so" out, maybe even replace with "but" to emphasize his disagreement
