Wow didn't expect to see someone this early and this randomly,not even in a shelter. I guess author-san tried to take us by surprise too and I can't say it didn't manage

oh. I feel dumb not noticing this earlier. The robot maid is in denial of her fundamental uselessness following her master's death, and keeps the mansion spotless. The holographic sprite is in denial of the shelter's uselessness following the death of all its inhabitants, keeping it in its original perfection. The only ones holding out for eternity are those who are too attached to the past to let it go.

they are AI's, they probably not programmed with the concept of organic death, like the maid thought his master could get cured, or the AI in the shelter didn't have any protocol of letting people left the shelter. They are programmed with a purpose and following said purpose until the end.
