Saw the chapter title and got a little sad knowing it was about Anna pretending she was okay with the arrangement and how we would see she misses him. Then we get the panel of her outside of the library door being all sad...and all of the stuff that happened in her house. And then her whole "we can do without a call" just felt so sad.

THEN our boy Wantaro gets her to go outside and she runs into him. The look of happiness on her face when she saw him was delightful. Can't wait to see where this goes.
I'm hoping this means we'll get them having a proper conversation about their situation. Anna being honest to Kyo that she wants to see him outside school. Kyo realizing his mistake. Them discussing how her career is interfering with the relationship and how to mitigate that.

Aaaaargh they both know how this arrangement is such BS that's detrimental to both of them but Kyo will still probably insist on it.

One of a tiny handful of chapter titles from her POV. I'm intrigued. Back later with thoughts.

EDIT: For an actress, she is terrible at faking anything around our boy. "Understanding"? More "pouting" than anything, and she absolutely has the right to pout. But she also needs to make absolutely clear to him that he's her priority -- not work, not anonymity, nothing else. Because he will absolutely prioritize everything about her unless and until she makes him understand that he's as important to her as she is to him.

Fortunately, she now has time to do just that.

So.

Much.

Time.

And so many ways to choose from to do it.

The fact that they're still in middle school throws everything off for me. They act like high schoolers, they (especially Anna) look like high schoolers, if not damn close to college aged. The author is clearly tryna bait reactions by being suggestive and setting up like potential sleepover night here. But then I go, oh yeah, they're fucking 14 or whatever. Like lmfao. Still great, but just one simple change of making them actually HS age would make this story a lot better.
