@jamesey I think no one seems to care, because they don't really know or understand Yamada that much. Even though some can find it strange, i don't think they you would comment on it, because Yamada is some kind of alien to them, so this make this kind of thing okay. Besides that it would be hard to question or go against her choice, because justly because Yamada is the school N.1 beauty, they don't want to make her angry or to seem like they're going against her choices. Wherever i believe, that is possible that some arc in the future, comes to address this.

However there is one person in their school who has noticed their relationship if you pay close attention to each chapter featuring them, which is the chubby girl (can't remember her name). A few examples would be during the seating arrangements and the portraits.

Why? He's the antisocial, outclass student in the classroom. Approach him would be a bad idea.

We also already have 'blond guy'/'trash-kun'/Adachi... He is aware that Yamada and Ichikawa hang out more now, but it hasn't quite occurred to them they might be legitimately flirty. He actually approached Ichikawa to talk about Yamada in an earlier chapter, thinking they were 'just friends', probably because he can't even imagine Yamada would be interested in that way with Ichikawa.

If even Adachi realizes they're hanging out, pretty safe to say other classmates have noticed, too. It's just people aren't necessarily going to make the connection that just because they're hanging out that they're moving towards anything more than that, just like how Adachi was clueless they liked each other.

Hell, it is already known that Yamada talks about him with her friends (Chi, Moe, and Serina), though it's not entirely clear if she's let slip she like-likes him to them. Either way, they're aware he's also close with Yamada at least like they are, and has included him every so often.

I know we're coming up on some stuff that very much feature them getting involved in matters.
