She gave chocolates to all the boys. There are multiple types of chocolate that get handed out on Valentines, and it isn't just store-bought or homemade either. The two big ones are obligation chocolates which are small or simple treats to get handed out to acquaintances, and confession/affection chocolates which are typically larger and more lavish. Either one can be store-bought, and either one can be homemade as well.
With that in mind, it is completely normal for Moeko to give him the same chocolates as the rest of the boys. That doesn't mean Yamada wouldn't or shouldn't get jealous, but it would actually be more odd if Moeko didn't give him anything when she gives chocolate to all the other boys. Intentionally singling out one person to not give chocolates to can actually be taken to mean you have some issue with them, even if they seem to be dating someone else.

evidently from these comments some people think a 13 year age gap is normal but ichikawa's sister is like 20 (she had her coming of age ceremony) so that means they had her at 26 and 39 respectively. not trying to shame anyone but for me thats unthinkable. he was 1.5x her age holy

I'm just saying it's a possibility regarding socialization while being credible. But if it's about ethics, it's possible the relationship between them have begun after that candidacy.

After all, I'm still remembering CLAMP weren't very ethic with Sakura's parents.

@withthewind They occasionally translate things wrong though. Sometimes very obvious things. Page 8 in chapter 64 is still not fixed for example even though it's obvious that it shouldn't be "we're similar" from the context of the chapter.

The other group translated the page 8 in chapter 64 differently.

Per the dating age formula (aka "Standard creepiness rule") 39/2+7=26.5 ≈ 26, so it's on the edge.

However, if we assume that they got together earlier than that, even just a year — 38/2+7=26 > 25 — that's yabai territory.
