I think she made him look like the 'bad boy' male lead from the shoujo manga Anna has had Kyo read, Kimi-iro Octave (Your Color's Octave), the guy that's the physical model for 'Imaginary Kyotaro', Nigorikawa. Of course, he's generally wearing a hoodie in the visuals we've seen, I feel like this is what he'd look like wearing something else over the rest of his clothes.


And yeah, Chii is such a space case. So much head empty. She's the only one here, besides Sanae Yamada, that has no idea that Anna and Kyo are actually a thing-in-the-making. Both Moeko and Serina are well aware that Kyo and Anna have feelings for each other.

No surprise that Kyo is still struggling with the concept of what a 'friend' is, let alone what the bare minimum is for telling someone likes you and isn't just really friendly. This, alongside his chronic self-esteem issues, are a root cause of his inability to admit his feelings to Anna.

For now, the cover story that he is Moeko's boyfwi, or 'bae' as the anime called it, will have to do for Sanae's peace of mind, because knowing he's closer to her daughter right now than any of the other girls would probably be too much, at this time. Though I'm pretty sure this whole misunderstanding gets cleared up before they leave..? I can't recall specifically how the episode this arc is based on progressed, to be fair. I know the basic jist, but I've forgotten certain specifics.
