This whole sequence had me on the edge of my seat in the anime, so to speak, during the first watch through. I didn't stop to process what was happening, just kept watching, wondering who this 'Pig Bastard' was. But it makes so much sense re-reading through and processing as I go. I'm not surprised some of the commenters in either translation's threads guessed it was Nico, because the clues were there, if you had time to sit with them.

But awesome moment of both kids confessing to Anna's parents that they like each other, basically. In parallel, even. Because they can't say they're a couple, because that's not the state of things just yet.

Also, yeah, Yukina is such a cinnamon roll, but he's so hard to read. I'm also a towering cinnamon roll, but I probably am more expressive than he is. I keep identifying with him every time he shows up, though.

And yeah, as others pointed out, Sanae totally already knew- she's been giving her girl openings so she feels free to interact with the boy she likes, after all.

So yeah... the threat in this instance was a bit overblown, as the 'obsessed fan' was actually a female colleague that totally adores Anna, and the feeling is mutual, so they hang out when they can. But it really was valid to be concerned- that did sound like some scary chatter from Nico online.
