Haha, got the same reaction.
From why I get "trailblazer" can be a term for a leader, or someone being the first to do a concept, an innovator (in that case, I guess he's like the first "Stupidly strong human").

But don't take my word for it. If someone have a better definition than mine, I'll take it.

I remember she’s like a bug slug thing and there was a chapter that featured her revealing her form. It was panel-like which I don’t like but I remember liking hers for some reason. What chapter was that? There’s like 4 different side stories

It's a western term that means someone who does things their own way, without being confined to the typical logic of the situation and makes new paths for others to follow. He's a leader who thinks outside the box and is headstrong enough to make his own path when one isn't available to him.

What the Trap Master is getting at with saying he's worse than a hero is that, instead of a hero who follows typical approaches and logic (which is the basis of trap usage), he's a wild card that is completely unpredictable.

I don't have the RAW to check but maybe it's more of a wordplay that works better in JP and lost the comparison once translated.

Like if the terms used were literally 'path maker' or something like that, since traps are inherently meant to block/hinder the path, and such title suggest the opposite (making the path safe to go through)

EDIT: Ch 7 seem to be the first time these 4 are in the same chapter (and also show-don't-tell him busting through the traps)

Trail markers used for navigation are also called blazes. A trail blazer in the literal sense is someone who finds and/or marks safe trails for people to follow. So in this context of a fantasy adventurer class it might just be someone who is good at finding ways to navigate through dungeons and traps, which would by why he's basically impossible for the trap guy to stop.

Yeah it may be lost in translation but I think we still get the overall gist what he was trying to say.

I mean, I think this is more of a double meaning in 'he is our opposite'.

Sure, trapmaster and wallbusters are opposites...

But so are They Who Corrupt/Brainwash, and He Who Engoodens/Seduces Into Kindness. Even if that second meaning is probably still not something the Bunch know about.

In 20 years:
"...and he's so great with the kids! But that's just meant I had to push my mimicry to its limits and simulate a good mother. Pretty amazing, right?"
A few decades more:

"Our eldest just had children, they don't even show that they are quarter monsters, and our middle child is studying to be a doctor, and our youngest is showing signs of taking to her father, and they don't show signs they are half-monster. Ain't I amazing?"
