Glad I'm not the only one wondering where Justy had gotten extra muscles for his chest from.
So, on another note, I wonder where the author is going with this, cause it's pretty undeniable that the only reason Hel likes him is cause she raised him as a devoted servant. Is he going to get his memories back and decide she's innocent enough otherwise to be spared? If so, this will be your reminder that she originally wanted to use him to fight humanity, and I'm pretty sure even said as much to him.
Do we have any reason to think demons were the bad guys in this war? Because all she did was trying to avenge her dead father and get strong ally, and I don't remember her going out of the way to attack humans, so it's not like she was doing it for evil kicks.
That said I agree that I don't have any idea where author is going with it, because either way Justy's character doesn't make sense. Either he was always crazy fanatic, but just got brainwashed into being Hel's fanatic servant, which makes all the romance up until now pointless, or he was genuinely into Hel, in which case this arc doesn't make sense. I mean, I can't say that this manga was ever well written, but it wasn't that dumb and pointless-feeling.
"I'm being you to your senses", says the chick that brainwashed him...
Seriously, this entire arc is just making Hel deeply unlikable
She came in peace, let herself get taken prisoner, even king thought executing her was way too much, so clearly demons can't be that bad, yet somehow Justy wants to literally genocide them just because. That's just him being crazy. This arc sucks, but not because Hel is unlikable, it's just dumb all around.
