This is shit I fucking hate this representation, this comic is basically representing Middle East as some Savage Land where you only get murdered n shit and then saying that in islam you get stabbed if you hit on a girl and that’s not in Islam, in Islam you don’t hurt or kill anyone, the only time you can is when you have to DEFEND yourself from someone trying to attack you or kill you! Islam is all about peace n what is presented here is false and where the fuck did the author even get that idea that this happens and THE TRANSLATOR had to go out of their way to MAKE A NOTE N TELL PPL THIS EXAGGERATED. Pls do not confuse the religion with the culture and don’t judge the whole religion based on what person does. Yes the Middle East does have a lot of problems but so do other countries. Muslim Girls in Middle East get hit on all the time EVEN non-Muslim middle eastern girls get hit on but you never hear that the guys who cat call them or hit on them get stabbed. The only reason I am pissed is because anyone who is too lazy to actually research or naive ppl will believe this because “middle eastern/Muslim people are terrorists and we should be scared of them” like one person does something wrong n everyone blames everything on Islam it’s fucked up

yaaaaaaas go off. I know this is a Korean story, but to make the FL say things like this without author’s note disclaimers is misleading since this will no doubt influence readers with no knowledge of Islam or the Middle East in general. Personally I know very little of either and was a bit surprised until I read the translator’s note

ok this is weird i am from oman and this manga is the first story ever i have read that is set in oman but there is one thing i don't understand oman is known as one of the most peaceful countries on earth why the hell is it depicted as a warzone maybe if it was set in the past i would agree but now there is no reason for it to be like this

but i am glad that there is a story based in oman the moment i read that i was screaming from the hype
