@amaranthia Pretty much Gacha, yea, but depending on how it's prepared the coins will likely be found before someone tries to take a bite. Whether it be melted, shredded, or sliced, the coin will be found easily. The question is whether or not the particular block of cheese someone took home contains a gold coin. Personally I dislike how unhygienic this idea can be, but melted cheese would become sterile(ideally) and if the cheese is shredded or sliced then the parts that the coin came into contact with can just be tossed. Also, if someone does actually like taking bites out of the cheese as is, then they can just spit out the parts that were closest to the coin. This assumes they care about hygiene in such a way, but hygiene wasn't that important back in such days so I doubt it's a problem.

If he was testing the lady, he should have heard about the fuck up with the materials. For the madam to gather MORE food supplies on the same budget, that's undeclared income or theft from other parts of the household. Of course, she could explain it, but that is still an ameliorating factor rather than a perfect score.

Nothing what the madam did was wrong, but not declaring it should have been very, very suspicious.
