The one romance that I can't really understand the logic of. Besides that Daleth is attracted to his confidence, and Walter is (evidently) attracted to her looks.

@MangaMonger They both relate to each other because they have inferiority complexes toward their older siblings, though Walter's is more in his head.

Walter is attracted to Daleth because he saw her crying about being abused by her sister, sympathized with her and wants to help her. She's attracted to Walter because he understands her, encourages her, and isn't afraid of her like most of the others.

The whole point of the chapter was that Walter doesn't just care about her looks, that's why he still treats her the same when she changes them.

@ManlyMan6545 When you put it like that, they seem like a great couple. I knew they related to each other, but somehow it didn't stick in my mind as part of their mutual attraction.

I kinda blame the way the author makes her seem like a weird shy stalker, and him as still nonchalant and single-mindedly focused on his brother. The romantic tension isn't conveyed as clearly as the other 2 main romantic couples who're constantly flirty. I can't help but subconsciously put it on the same level as Viola and Rob, where one party's obsessed and the other just expresses kindness. So I'm looking forward to when the romance is developed more explicitly, with Walter expressing more clear romantic intentions...
