I'm not so sure there'll be a school arc. These people's proposal (go back in time, kill the baddie before she does stuff) doesn't sound quite like something our main characters would go along with.

Calling the cliches now:
-Duke is the worst student because he doesn't have magic, but his power makes him secretly OP.
-Alice is a super popular school idol but ignores everyone other than the duke, she may or may not be able to use magic.
-Zain is a popular prodigy who all the girls are after, he only likes Caph but it still nice to everyone causing misunderstandings.
-Caph is a klutz who's only mediocre at everything making her insecure and she and gets jealous of the girls flirting with Zain.
-Nico and Ichi are Principals or something similar, they keep hearing about duke and friends shenanigans and are secretly helping them while saying things like "I knew they would be interesting".
-Fan service with Alice and Caph in uniforms.
-"Evil" student council that secretly watches everyone, causes problems, and talks about how everything is going according to plan but later get defeated and become good guys.
-Duke acts like a coward but stands up to someone to help Alice.
-Tournament arc
-Duke duels with someone but is too scared of hurting them to fight but still manages to win through some kind of last second trick.
-Duke uses his power to save everyone from some kind of unbeatable threat and becomes a hero.
