well, the goblin king is currently human and half or less the size she used to be, and Ish is still pretty tall like this. Ish is very much very weakened right now.I’m starting to get confused about the power levels here. The Goblin king, in this form, was able to wipe out their whole goblin army, yet is struggling with this one dude? How were the blood knights ever even struggling? Surely all of the army’s power being solely focused in the king would be rather easy to exploit right?
Anyway, great chapter as always, I really like how she didn’t bother hiding when it’s no longer necessary
Yeah but that’s what I’m saying. Even in that weakened state she was able to take out all of her other goblins. So assuming this guy is about the same or a little weaker than human form ish, without even using his weapon, he should be able to easily solo the entire goblin army (minus ish) as well right? At that point why even bother with the army, if the king is that much stronger than everyone elsewell, the goblin king is currently human and half or less the size she used to be, and Ish is still pretty tall like this. It doesn't look like she was seriously trying to kill the crimson guy, she took a punch to the face, but this hardly qualifies as a wound, it more looks like a play, she even gave him his weapon back, is she flirting?Yeah but that’s what I’m saying. Ish didn't wipe out her whole army while in this form, she faced 2 goblin Saht-rias after being transformed, which she found easy and disappointing, one Bah-rin that proved to be more difficult fight but she killed him, and 4 more Saht-rias on the way out.I’m starting to get confused about the power levels here. Because he lost most of his strength when he was turned into a human, in ch 5 he was even complaining about being weaker than a fledgling sath-riaI’m starting to get confused about the power levels here. I believe he was fighting two bah-rins and two sath-rias, two of the goblins were noticably bigger than the others, I also believe there's levels to the bah-rins goblins, as that's from ageIsh didn't wipe out her whole army while in this form, she faced 2 goblin Saht-rias after being transformed, which she found easy and disappointing, one Bah-rin that proved to be more difficult fight but she killed him, and 4 more Saht-rias on the way out.
From what we can see she's still physically very imposing and strong for a human, but from her fight with the Bah-rin, it was clear that in raw phisicality he was stronger, she won through experience, skill and ruthlessness. If you compare her fight with the goblins and the crimson knight now, you can see a clear difference of attitude, like @Ecchikun I think she was going easy on him (which to be fair, she kinda did to the goblins she fought as well before killing them). She's also recovering from the wounds she sustained and the blood she lost, so there's that as well, we may see it more clearly on the following confrontation with the other goblins.
Info on the goblin sizes and ages on ch. 4, page 18.
Besides that, kickass chapter, interesting lore, dynamics and the action is great. I can't wait for more.
Feel like the point of that fight was to provoke a perceived enemy for ego/self-destructive reasons shown in Chapter 10 and not about actually beating him up.I’m starting to get confused about the power levels here.
