I wonder if her specialization in fire-arms is due to Yuri wanting her to take a safer position at the backline, we know she doesn't want her learning blood magic either. Though imagine the menace Emma would be with semi-autos or other types of repeating guns?

We've heard of the Frowning Ones curses a few chapters back with the cursed coins, but having nails going through your bloodstream? Even if Ish himself in his original body got cursed like that, how would he survive?

Taking a quick look at the earlier chapters, it's really cool how much the art and style has evolved. As always, great chapter!

I also don't think it was ever outright stated before, but it was implied in Chapter 12 when Yuri told Emma to be safe, because she couldn't afford to lose her too.

Anyway, this story is always amazing. I look forward to every new chapter!
