@Therolyte i had the same theory a while ago, but before her reincarnation she was specifically told "your sibling in that world, is the reincarnation of your previous sibling"(Ch.2).
So unless it's gonna be something like "their mothers were friends so they are basically siblings" (which still wouldn't make much sense), her sibling can only be ludan.

Siiigh the only saving grace is that the MC has enough sense to lecture his ass and the author understanding there's marital rape. I'm so glad she told him off about consent and his terrible personality. I can't deal with the ML until he fixes his personality

A lot of people are complaining about the ML. However, I still hold that the MC is just as bad.

She has a very holier-than-thou attitude in regards to the ML, and refuses to hear his side of the story. Even when she is proven wrong about the engagement, she doesn’t think to apologize for all the times she argued with him over something that was, evidently, out of both their control and is something that clearly means a lot to him.

She coddles her brother, and seemingly refuses to see him as anything but her dear, sweet sister’s reincarnation, which is quite troubling. It means she’s not really seeing him as he is - a powerful young man (he’s older than he looks) in his own right, who has basically been doing her job for years, and who is just as overprotective of her as the ML.

It’s also very problematic that she doesn’t seem to notice or care about the consequences of her words or actions. Ironic, really. She’s the one that keeps bringing up war (not the ML), even after she is informed that A. the cardinals are basically indestructible, including her brother, and thus aren’t actually in danger, B. by removing her support from the empire, she is dooming the lives of it’s countless citizens, and C. that her insistence that society bend to her rules could actually cause more political problems.

In general, she simply refuses to adapt to her current circumstances.

Agreed. I mean, the emperor's character is sorely lacking, I ain't denying that. But so is the MC. And she hasn't had any real character progression so far - how many times has she done her lengthy chastisement of him, only to get the same result? All three of them (the emperor, MC and Ludan) seem to reenact the same scenario that has just been slightly altered, and it ends up the same every time.

It's a shame because the concept isn't bad, (there are good webtoons/manga with a less interesting premise) it's just bogged down by poor character writing.

I thought it would be good... but honestly this series really disappointed me... personalities of almost all characters saying shortly just sucks I'm not picky about what I'm reading so it really show as that this series turned me off. It's a pity but oh well. Bye
