He's the one you need to kill, he's the one causing the disaster. (the cardinal, that is) Just kill him, and if it doesn't stop the disaster from happening, we guessed wrong. Not like we lost anything anyways.

The requirements: Stop the disaster; raise the barrier; love the emperor
The permissive: Marriage.

The first three are mission objectives, the fourth is a side-quest. And "love" can be any flavor, unless a specific word in Korean was applied that narrows the definition. Ergo, she can love the emperor as a friend and comrade-in-arms and the conditions will be filled.

The only reason people aren't thinking about this rationally is because the emperor's temper-tantrums won't give them the space to, which is kind of brilliant on his part.

I have such a difficult time reading this story because there's not one character I feel any attachment to of any kind but I feel the need to continue to know what happens next.

I’m conflicted with this story
The art is nice, but the characters are just unrelatable
It’s nice we don’t have a FL that just throw everything for the Possible ML (emperor)
But I also don’t like how she just threw herself for her sibling
Just cause the previous life her sibling gave her heart

I kept skipping some chapters cause of how slow it was too
