Hmmm... the development from being exiled to having to support a bunch of dozen people was a little too fast for me. There are two series I've recently read that comes to mind when I think about the rapid development: Dungeon Tou and Tensei Shitekara 40-nen (both shortened names=0v) they have this theme, albeit not immediately, and I like the slower buildup so that we can get acquainted with the more-central cast before having to share that with other characters and duties. This is still a solid start, so I'm not complaining, but the story shoving 10 characters in my face that seem integral to the plot is a lot to digest.
