Yeah, its strange unless she actually did steal his talent.Seems like there was literally no reason to make her the villain
I don't know if the WN/LN explained it better, but it sounds like he specifically chose the class. And then was excited about it.But why would the father react like that? Makes no sense, even he should know that his son can't do anything about his class? It's like blaming your daughter that she wasn't born a man
It sounds like the heavy knight has some meta about it that isn't discovered until later, which is a "player" thing unfortunately. The only thing the inhabitants, the NPC know (according to the father anyway) is that heavy knight has low attack stats(I guess it's a tank class?), no special status effects and no attack skills. Definitely either a tank or a defensive class. I guess the family believes the saying that "offense is the greatest defense".I don't know if the WN/LN explained it better, but it sounds like he specifically chose the class. And then was excited about it.
the guy forgot that in the game's universe the class is considered a loser's choice because everyone prefers DEXmaxxing twink DPS builds, while IRL players (like him before meeting truck-kun) know it's actually the strongest meta at higher levels, which is why he was so excited when he did get the class. this is what pissed his dad off.But why would the father react like that? Makes no sense, even he should know that his son can't do anything about his class? It's like blaming your daughter that she wasn't born a man
I mean, considering this seems to be pretty medieval in setting, that probably isn't that far out there lolIt's like blaming your daughter that she wasn't born a man
Well, it's true to a certain degree, even more in peasants or artisan families since it's expected from men to do manual labor, meanwhile girls could help mostly around the house and then if they want to get married a dowry was obligatory! But in this instance the father reaction is over the top! More for plot reasonsI mean, considering this seems to be pretty medieval in setting, that probably isn't that far out there lol
Also it's rare to f*ck up the 2nd word in the very 1st textbox of the very 1st chapter...HEAVY NIGHT
