Intro: Heavy knight is regarded as a weak class because they are weak in the beginning and have a very slow progression rate.
This world must not have progressed it's knowledge of the classes very much since they regard them as weak still. No one must have leveled it up far since adventuring is dangerous and they thus think the weak stats are there to stay.
Also Intro: Heavy knight can defeat hords of enemies just by standing that normally you would require intermediate level adventures for.... on day 1.
Yeah.... these stories hurt me
On top of that, this guy's equipment does
not, like,
at all, look like beginner armor. Feels like the artist just wanted to make the MC look cool off rip despite him literally being level 1.
You're telling me that that's just basic iron armor? And what looks like a two-handed greatsword/lance hybrid is just "Inferior Soldier's Sword" that MC is wielding with
one hand? Nah ain't no way
Considering how his dad reacted, I don't think he was given enough money to get anything particularly good, either, so yeah this is probably the artist and/or author taking a lot of liberties with the setting lol
if we take a mmo perspective it would be like min/maxing at the start of the game. and using meta knowledge to advance. assuming no respec available in the world then it make sense no one would be insane enough to try this method
100% some foolhardy dumbass would've tried all-inning on that skill at least once throughout their history, especially some "I have nothing to lose" types. Highly unlikely that MC would be the first one, since there's already such huge disdain for the class
