There is figuratively poking the bear, then there is what the Marquis Hulrod did with Count Edvan. I was actually surprised that the count hit the table with his fist and rose up out of his seat. Though in retrospect, considering what he did to the MC, I shouldn't have been surprised.

I'm glad they brought back the dad. I'm curious to see how that will go for him and Elma. My guess is that seeing his son lead a team will cause him to finally understand the need for change and rely on others, like the other nobles.

Probably not, that'd require him to realize he fucked up in banishing him. I don't think he has the ability to do that.
