If Youko makes it out of this alive, I'll be surprised. Still, it means in both climaxes they used her as a hostage, along with a civilian woman Satou is friendly with, so I can see the broad strokes getting a little repetitive (and why this is probably? the last arc, or at the very least, second-last).
The quiet moments are where this manga has really shined so it doesn't bother me too much but yeah it's a shame they didn't find a better plot to hang it on (but whatever, character >>> plot in my book)
