This chapter is way too relatable than it has any right to be.

I thought the elongated vowels were used to mimic yakuza/punk speech, but everybody's using it. I guess it's just some general Japanese thing.

They're probably trying to translate the Osaka-accent, which doesn't work at all.
Just translate it normally and include a notice at the end listing the differences between the normal Tokyo accent and Osaka accent.
