never judge before something is over! the theme of rehabilitation with lapis has me hoping for better but the demonization of the anti-noble peasant class is really strange so far.

natori do be rizzing up minors tho so... can't really look away from that (not rudeus level but still)
All I'm saying is that's so far away from the actual focus or context of the story being presented, that to get hung up on it is to miss the forest for ...I dunno, a random in-view gas station or something.

Like, good on you for having principles that you'll even apply to a made-up story about fictional characters in a fantasy setting, but if that's what gets stuck in your craw and pulls your focus away from the narrative and plot, then I reiterate my initial suggestion because it sounds like you won't get much enjoyment out of the series in the meantime.

I just started reading this yesterday and now I'm caught up...it's so nice to read an isekai with an interesting plot and proper foreshadowing and so on. So many are amateur webnovel stories that had a good start and got popular, which fall apart over time because they weren't properly planned out and the author just feels compelled to asspull things to keep it going. With this, I feel that the whole arc of the story was determined from the start as it should be. The writing just feels so competent.

But now I'm sad that I'm caught up and it looks like it takes a while between chapters. Apparently raws are 5 chapters ahead...
Yeah it's basically monthly

The reason for Aurora to become Lapis is dumb as hell. I don't get what is Nekotarou's angle here because everything else has been on-point so far.
I wouldn't call it dumb tho, from her perspective at least, she was a child riddled w guilt, the only way to her for her sister to remain was to live as she would have, kinda doesn't make sense but not dumb(or at least that's how i understood it)if anything I'd say that's a way for her to handle survivor's guilt , now the father allowing it is another story, good to know he knows he should had stopped her
