It's great that the FL is aware of right and wrong. Sometimes in this kind of story, the FL just seems to ignore the fact that the ML is cruel to anyone besides her.

I'm still glad he dealt with these douchebags though.

I'm still confused, why didn't they recognize their king? I hope it will be explained later. I'm liking the fl for now, but I hope they wikl let her try explaining correctly that killing everybody is wrong and not the bullsht "You don't have the right. It's bad" because we all know that yes, he has the right and that's not the first time he has done that and can't think of it as something he shouldn't do. (Tho I like him for the fact that he respects her boundaries and he can change)
Thanks for the mass upload!

Smh, would you have given their patterns first before killing them?! These two need to better their cooperation.

I was wondering why the knight didn't recognize their own emperor
NOW I vaguely remember in the early chapter they explained that the emperor never show up to anyone except some of his ppl

This story's a bit cringe but idk i like it anyway lol

This... kinda confuses me. The emperor is suddenly acting like he has been interested for a long time, she doesn't seem to be bothering to learn about ANYTHING, magic or otherwise, and PALACE knights should definitely know better than to mess with witches/mages. That is, of course, aside from the fact that they knew there were trainee witches in the area, and their conduct is terrible. Seriously, unless they were going to kill her and somehow magically hide all the evidence, they were screwed. There aren't many witches accepted there in the first place. They're all quite important. And they'll probably hold a grudge for a while, soon getting the magical power to ACT on that grudge. Just... why?

......???????

i dunno how the knights function in this world when there are witches around but considering they're in the royal palace, you'd think these knights would know some basic courtesy and not.... idk...... outright threaten a young lady (witch or not) inside said palace??? they don't even have the least bit of manners which could stem from 1) francian knights are at the top of society/are very powerful or 2) itsbadwriting.gif. regardless i just can't understand how these guys think it's okay to be so damn rude in THE royal palace?????? they were even saying they wanted to kill her.... IN THE ROYAL PALACE.............. LIKE..... where is the logic here???? tbh its a bit cringe, these leaps of logic

also if none of y'all know what your emperor looks like, you should at least act with a bit more discretion in his own home....... you would think.............. 🙄

I am really developing some serious hate for Bella/Sabine. She is useless and incompetent to the point of being dangerous. The entire situation with the knights was as much her fault as theirs. Admittedly they needed to go as well, criminal stupidity, arrogance and assaulting a guest in the palace were all reason enough. About the only one that got it close to right was the king. He needed to send them to the dungeon so they could be tried, executed, and finally serve as an example to others

The way that the direction is heading right now, Sabine needs to learn about the world ASAP and the magic system too. She is way too dependent on the emperor.

Ah, so he knows. It's not that he doesn't realize he's done something wrong, it's that they dared to not only point their weapons at their king(who they should have recognized if they were worth their salt) and they also harmed Sabine. Ignoring the fact that she is being favored by the king, they should have known that a witch in the castle meant that she was likely a queen candidate and to treat her with respect. They did everything wrong and their ignorance cost them their lives. Now, sure Sabine knew what might happen and thus why she wanted to get them both away as soon as possible so he didn't kill them, but I think she should have shouted to the guards that he was their king as soon as possible. At the very least it'd get those who knew better on the ground asking for forgiveness and could give her more time to get the king to back down, while those who kept being stupid would then be killed off.

I’m enjoying this so far but it’s a little confusing why she isn’t telling anyone that she knows nothing and can’t read and isn’t even seeking help from those around her. It’s a bit frustrating but will probably get better later. Thanks for translating!!🥰
