Só pq o cara se arrepende, ou no caso, se arrependeu, não significa q a ação dele (assassinato) sumiu ou diminuiu sua intensidade. Talvez o julgamento protagonista tenha se tornado mais leviano a morte dos soldados por dois motivos principais: primeiro ter cometido suicídio na vida passada; segundo, estar sendo perseguida por aqueles cavaleiros.
Desse modo, consigo criar uma desculpa para mim msm sobre a pouca duração do choque dela.

To be fair she reacted pretty hard to it at first, even if she got over it pretty quick.
But considering she killed herself, being a bit numb to death is not out of character.
