Uncensored!? Yeah I think Im good this is porn enough. I get this thou, the not feeling anything real when being with others part.
Well, considering that she's not being herself at all, it would be hard to connect with others, she's more like a player role playing in a very realistic game, she doesn't have a real connection with her current self, much less with others... when she's alone, well, that's clear.
Basically, she goes out and turns the auto pilot mode on

"Even though I could get aroused by my friends in my fantasies."
"All I felt when I hung out with them was emptiness and no desire to touch them at all."
"I'm broken."

LMAO. Alright, if this didn't do it now I know this webcomic was written by a man . Nothing wrong with that of course, but it will definitely change up how the issue/theme of this comic will be approached and most likely solved. Doubly so when the one facing this issue is a woman. First off, not wanting to bang your friends when you're right with them but having fantasies about them in private? That's normal. I mean no shit sherlock, most people don't think about banging their friends when they're hanging out with them. That doesn't make you broken, but a normal decent person. They're your friends and it is clear you're don't have romantic interest in them. This isn't as deep or damning problem as the author thinks it is or making it out to be from her perspective. Granted if (and it probably will) it is revealed that due to her porn addiction and the psychological damages done from looking at such content at a really young age has caused her to be unable to have any desire for physical intimacy then fair enough, that's where the issue will actually surface. However, the first chapter shows she's clearly had a girlfriend at the very least so I might be wrong at the aforementioned.

Author/artist is a woman. It's cause they're French.

Oh, let me explain. Basically, I find the problem our heroine going through sort of dumb and the way the author presents it makes me believe a guy is trying to write how women tend to go through issues regarding pornographic exposure. Unless it was the author's intent, of course, I find it really strange that she's beating herself over and calling herself broken for not having sexual feelings for her friends when she's in their presence but still has sexual fantasies about them in private. Anyone would know that you normally don't have sexual thoughts about your friends while you're right with them, like hanging out or going for coffee and it's perfectly healthy and fine to have sexual thoughts about a friend in private. It's natural, and it is human. I think it'd make more sense to have these sorts of thoughts in a situation wherein she has a girlfriend and can't seem to be sexually intimate with her but can easily fantasize and masturbate to her. Now that would make more sense. Now, it's fine if a guy's writing this and it's fine if a woman's writing this. I just couldn't help but make the observation on both how dumb the situation she's facing and how I have a hunch a guy's writing it. Honestly I can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store, because with the way this story is going it's going straight into my "so bad and so dumb it's so perfect and so funny" group of manga.

Also, I didn't want to say this but the whole short man comments really make me believe a guy is writing this because it's just so fucking hilarious and specific. Like yeah, this chick is totally going to internalize her friend wanting to not date a guy because he's short and say in her fantasies that she's going to make her forget about being shorter than her. Like, how can you NOT laugh at something like that.

Eh, I think it's pretty apparent that it was the girl's total lack of privacy growing up and inability to explore her sexuality in a healthy, supportive environment that's created this self-loathing mentality.

Oh, I believe that as well. It's very common that people tend to develop an intense amount of shame and self-loathing in very restrictive and high pressured upbringings that place emphasis on staying "pure" and not engaging in anything sexual. However, what I don't get is why she's self-loathing over not having sexual feelings in the presence of her friends.

Going to be honest with you, thats not what shes self-loathing over, but if thats the thing you thought you read (despite it being pretty clear its not), sure.

what i understood it as is that shes saying that shes broken because she was utilizing her friend's romance stories to feed into her fantasies when she masturbates despite the fact she has no actual romantic or sexual attraction to her friends, but because she has no access to the internet to relieve her desires to, she only can only imagine fucking her friends as thats whos shes closest to.
