I didn't even think about it translating it."The Edo period is often the stage of films and soaps"
While I assume it's talking about soap opera type shows, since this series is about soaplands, it's kinda funny that it makes me think about Edo-themed soaplands.

Honestly, I think the title of "The Former Prostitute Became a Rich Wife" will likely only become relevant at the very end of the story.I wonder if the tutor will end up being her husband

It may just be there as reassurance from the author to the viewer as:
"She gets married to a rich dude at the end so don't worry if she suffers through most of the story!"
(I have not seen the raws so I could be wrong and she gets married midstory, I am open to being corrected if that is so)
Oh yeah you're right, it doesn't say she marries a rich dude in the title, it says she "BECAME a rich wife".They will first meet in volume 5, but aren't married yet in volume 7 which is the last volume released.
Furthermore, there's no indication that the person Honoka will marry is rich. I'm not sure why everyone seems to be drawing that conclusion.
The framing device at the start stated the wedding would be 7 years after the start of the story, so don't really understand all the people that seemed to think this person would be introduced quickly in the story, then they would fall in love, and wait 7 years to marry for some reason.
