They do, actually. The romans could set up a fully functioning military camp in a day or two and those camps were equivalent to small villages in terms of what workplaces could be found there (most of them became towns later on, in fact.)

the previous chapter actually highlights this exact fact by pointing out that they build roads, then use brick golems to transport non-brick materials, leveling/setting the road while reaching the town, then said golems themselves become bricks for building.
Add to that all the other alchemy stuff and then the speed makes sense, mostly.

I wish Roa played around a bit more, like imposing on Cherry since she treated them that badly AND didn’t know who they were. I’m sure it’ll come out in future interactions but it would’ve made this introduction much more fun.

What the hell is happening with this manga? Like did the author and artist have some sort of major life change? Chap 30.2 pg. 4: literally from that page on the tone, over, and undercurrent of the manga took a massive shift. It’s not bad per-se but it’s like they need around 5-7 more chapters to re-establish what the vibe and style of the manga is, like it’s a NEW manga.

i mean i guess the building the town make sense but man they're away for like what, 1 weeks (or more? it's 2 days chasing and 2 days back so there's more) but honestly it still caught me off guard, especially when there's a bunch of people mc haven't seen suddenly
