I like that we're finally able to see where the heck all of this was leading to, but i don't like that character development for everyone other than Jihan has been completely abandoned a while ago. Everybody else has been demoted to backstage staff status which is a bit disappointing.

I thought that the entire point of there being 9 gates was that you had to have a majority of them open to cause a problem, yet now it's apparently the case that opening just one causes exactly the situation that would potentially break down Gaia? Why did Geumodo make a suicide run when they could have just sat on top of their one open gate and evidently accomplished exactly what they wanted?
