It's kind of sad how she feels pain because she thinks she's doing the same thing that kids did to her: making decisions about what's good for her when she was perfectly able to make them herself. Their situations are different, but it's still sad to see how much it affected her. You're a wonderful woman Ritsu.
I'm on team Ritsu because she's the first to say "the way i feel is special, whether Hinase is a man, a woman, or as they are now." Meanwhile the dude is like... "you have to be a girl because i like you." like fuck off with that absolute bullshit
@liobi4 agreed! Team Ritsu for the win. Maybe my memory’s a bit off since it’s been a while since I’ve read, but she seems to be more considerate of Hinase’s feelings and wants than Shiori
iirc shiori wants hinase to be a girl because hinase will die if they dont choose a sex soon, not just because he likes them (though i do think its part of it)
I don't think Shiori's particularly wrong. Ritsu's nice and cute and considerate and accepting! And that's great! But she's wishy-washy, and Shiori knows via overhearing his brother that Genderless people die before they hit 20. That is why he's the way he is. Whether or not Hinase becomes a dude or chick, there's a choice that needs to be made or else Hinase will die as already established.
I’m with Ritsu, she respects if Hinase wants to become a girl or a guy. While I get that Shiori is concerned whether or not Hinase will live, putting that much pressure on Hinase will make their mental health deteriorate far quicker than they’ll die.
@930310 It’s not homophobic, in this world you chose your gender so most people would pick the opposite of their preferences. Doesn’t mean there can’t be same sex relationships it’s just a lot more rarer.
Ritsu is too wishy-washy for me, no idea why people prefer her over Shiori.
@liobi4 Did you just skip the previous few chapters? Shiori is perfectly okay with Hinase turning into a guy as long as they live, this was outright stated that Shiori's main concern is with Hinase's life and not his romance.
@VolphinaSerafina Hinase is running out of time rapidly, Shiori's concern is very valid here, sand he hasn't really put too much pressure on Hinase, the previous chapters they were home alone yet Shiori didn't do anything.
@SparkShadow the cashier only gave them the discount because they said they were a male and a female. If they had said that they were a girl they would not get the discount.
