@monkey123 from what little i could understand from the wiki article about bayesian ratings is that the bayesian rating system is.... semi-rigged?. i dont know how to describe it right other than that the rating is affected by preset numbers pre-added to the equation used for calculation.

Which is why bayesian ratings for super shit stuff tends to be much much higher than the simple mean rating.
