I really question what China qualifies as Disfigure. Sure, She's had her face cut up. But it's nothing awful and you'd still be able to know who it is.

Also, Kind of disappointed. Was wanting the girl to be a ghost and follow the MC around like a companion. Was also hoping that the sister was possessed or something happened. I was wanting it to reveal that the sister isn't evil and by the end of it she and the MC were reunited or something.

My point is that the story makes it seem like it's something big but looks like she just had a cat scratch her face.

Not that I want to get @'d if either of you come back to this again, partly because I got bored and stopped reading your replies to each other half way through, but it's probably worth noting if it wasn't in that clusterfuck already that those wounds really are a pretty big deal to someone in her position. Someone like the original owner of that body, her good looks were basically the majority of her power in the world. Her family name was important too, but if she's not unblemished that family can't marry her off properly for maximum benefit, which means she was probably useless at that point. Even the guy in the brothel just then is pretty much like "Time to put a paper bag over that face so I can just focus on the hot body."

Now that there's a badass behind the wheel on this meat suit though, things could certainly improve. But at the end of the day, that cover art for the series has her covering her face for probably a couple of reasons, but hiding the scarring is one of those for sure because looks are still going to matter socially in this world.

Hello as a Chinese man I will say that by traditional standards your basically worthless as a women in ancient China If you got a back nick on your face. So yes in Asia she is considered disfigured. Also it’s a comic expect drama

I'm gonna admit. She actually does look kinda disfigured here. I was expecting one small scratch but this is all over her face. I know they're just dark lines with the teeniest bits of shadow but I feel like those cuts are really deep. I kinda actually feel sorry for her.
