@nailbudday I think this is the first time in this adaptation. But that's also the thing, as an adaptation, it might have skipped the actual first time this was supposed to happen for whatever reason.

The spirit beasts can randomly talk now, and of course the story neither makes a comment about it or even shows us the first time it happens. Events in this series just occur in whatever manner the author fancies at any given moment, with no thought for coherence or logic or pacing. Smh.
