i guess she healed her scars during her shower, they are completely gone once she wears the veil and the veil in see-through so it's not like you wouldn't be able to see them.

@Doomer I think this has more to do with having the face be more visible than it should be, which is a common issue I see in Eastern comics and animation. You've probably seen it too. Fences, prison bars, anything that should be obscuring the view of the face is made to not do so even if it looks retarded as a result. I've even seen it happen with goddamn helmets, during battle scenes. Character was still wearing the helmet, it just vanished arbitrarily so the facial expressions were visible I guess? I would put money on this veil showing off so much of her face being exactly this dumb ass habit.

I have so many problems with the translations as both a native Chinese speaker and being in love with the culture like corrections it would be more Kitsune i guess but that carries a negative connotation in China and there aren’t any more beautiful mythological creatures.
