Too bad it causes motion sickness. (Seriously, I can't watch it. I tried.)
Yeah, I can see that from the first episode, as for the other series by the same production team. I think it improved later, but I could just be focusing on the subtitles a bit more than what was on screen. :/

Well you're in luck! It should be coming pretty soon!

Pretty sure that was only the first episode that was like that, yeah. The rest of the series felt a lot less wonky.

To be honest, I kind of feel like the weird camera angles and movements that only showed up in the first episode were meant to be a sort of metaphor for nearsightedness in some way. You know, how a lot of the camera angles were uncomfortably close to certain features, but extremely far from others. Kind of like Mie's perspective when trying to look at things up close without her glasses, but with more depth of field blur, obviously, for her vision. The anime obviously couldn't do that for scenes that weren't from her perspective (I feel like that only happens once? Maybe? Only because the manga panel had a blurry silhouette for that scene)

Being someone that's nearsighted, it just felt like it clicked for me, at least. But I'm also neuro-spicy in the Au-DHD ranges, so maybe that flavors my thinking a bit, too.

HE SAID IT (quietly)
Hey, being able to say it out loud and not just in your head is definitely a big step. Some characters struggle on the 'confession practice' in other stories. The story I read before this one, which was a crazy, wacky, sometimes tear-jerking (especially near the end), but fun ride had characters struggling just with that, it felt like, for a good chunk of the story.

So, uh. page 11... Is nobody else going to wonder what the hell happened there? Should I just assume if it wasn't depicted clearly, it didn't happen? Why did he react like that? He sounds like he thought he offended her ancestors when her eyes went wide there in the middle panel, and then her response to his intent on 'orz' was a simple 'Why?' with sweatdrops shaking out.

I mean, I have a thought, but, like I said, if it's not depicted clearly, I dunno if I should jump to the conclusion. Not to mention, the next panel shows Komura having leaned to the side, clear of her body, but still shielding her with his arms, so not sure what to read of that.
