Oh wow… just like Kaede Komura’s mom, Ai Mie’s dad seems about ready to welcome him into the family. These parents feel so supportive of these two.

So, that comment about Ai trying out more clothes from her mom... I feel like that‘s basically saying she started being more mindful of her appearance since meeting Kaede. She wants to look good for him. Though I’m sure making friends probably started it before then, it likely really picked up in the last year.

And Ai trying to be considerate of Kaede‘s dad situation, but he assures her it’s fine. To be honest, I do kind of wonder about that… Yeah, it probably is connected to his self-esteem, but I wonder if it also sort of ties into how he reacted to being told he’s like her father way back.

Kaede seems to think of a lot of generic ‘father of a daughter’ stereotypes when he has considered what Ai‘s dad’s responses would be thanks to his lack of actual paternal figure examples in his life.

These cute little beans complimented each other on their outfits. They are so cute and are growing up so fast…
