But that was an old anime. Childhood friend's aren't the eternal losers in manga and anime anymore. In fact, over the last year or so, I've seen childhood friends that have made a comeback and won. I do feel bad for Torigoe, but she's not actually needed here when the manga is all about Ryou and Fushimi. So yeah, keep this one about the CF's and make a spin-off where Torigoe is the lead instead.

@Sparky_ did she though? I've gotten the impression that he more or less ignored her cause she got popular and he was insecure. It's never felt like she was the one who wanted to pull away.

Also I feel like I'm in the minority but I reeeeeally can't stand Torigoe. She's using the KC just to make herself feel better. She Fushimi us clingy but she's just trying to get her man while Torigoe just doesn't want her emotional support to go away. Both very selfish but childhood friends motives feel a lot more "purer" to me. 🤷‍♂️
