...I'm not quite sure how this works (I have no idea what ancient Chinese Buddhism is like) but if you're looking for help from Buddha I feel like maybe a good first step would possibly be to drop any thought of this "revenge" stuff.

On the other hand they said "how can there be a beggar in the place of Buddha," so maybe ancient Chinese Buddhism is very different from that with which I am familiar. XD (It happens even to the best of deities.)
