I for one really liked this chapter. It really feels like a return to form, with character building efficiently packed into the limited space, and absolutely gorgeously evocative art filling in the rest.

Even if its place in the story proper is a little puzzling, gotta give credit where credit is due

Yeah I think I’m gonna drop this and come back in a couple of months. I’m actually in agreement with slimenora. The 4 page format is showing its limitations and readers are getting impatient and annoyed with the little progress in the story. From the comments on this thread to the ones on Twitter(I refuse to call it X) the author needs to cooking something else up. I wouldn’t mind waiting an extra week or 2 for something longer. That’s just my thought though.

Sounds to me like you ought to stop reading it, then. You'd probably be happier that way rather than being disappointed every week. You could check back in a few months or a year if you want. But that's just my two cents.

You see, I'd have no problems with introducing that character if it happened after actually resolving anything. Have them confess, have them be openly gay and happy and fluffy and cuddly and sickenly sweet to each other for a bit... And then introduce a new plotlines.

Heck, I'd even welcome it then, because that would mean more stories with them. But you can't just throw ever more plates in the air, you need to catch some of them first.
