Yeah! What a premium chapter starting with the worst kind of poorly written timeskip that just ignores everything going on!

Everyone just stopped existing for a second because, duh, christmas needs to be mentioned for some more misunderstandings and drama!

But, hey, the stranger annoying tool chara that was supposed to enable another plot point in Koga considering going pro just asked her out for december 25th! No way would she mention producing for Koga once in that whole timeskip, no?
So what if she doesn‘t do what she was supposed to? Just turn her into a drama machine and rival randomly!

This chapter is the accumulation of everything wrong with this manga for the past 20 chapters. Can‘t even lie and call it good.

It's going to be Aya's turn for an attention grabbing stunt this time. And this time there's no room for the heartfelt confession afterwards to be "let's be friends!"

So they haven't been talking much for how long now? Was their "fight" really that substantial? It didn't feel like something to last that long but we just time skipped--what weeks, or longer?

As for the Kouhai, it's obviously just music related; although it's still not completely clear if that's all her feelings are about. I imagine Mistuki will not communicate, as is standard, especially since they're apparently still not really talking. Would love to be surprised though. It's clearly trying to build up to a Christmas climax so I doubt we'll clear this up quickly.

The only way this plotline can recover from the unforgivable sin of
referencing Teenage Dirtbag is if it ends with Mitsuki showing up at Aya's place on Christmas with a pair of Iron Maiden tickets.

I just really do not care for that song.
I mean really! What self respecting rock fan is going to mention Wheatus of all bands?

Thiiiiiiiisss, for fucks sake I know literacy is dead and everyone has the attention span of a goldfish but holy fuck.
This has nothing to do with media literacy or whatever. The author is using the most generic tropes possible. It's just very predictable and boring. The writing isn't good either because the four page format messes up the pacing. It feels all over the place. But no, readers are annoyed because they don't understand this "deep and clever" writing, right? It's just a slog.
