Well yeah? Didn't say she's not stoked. But she did not have a family gathering on Christmas before. She was planning to attend the prom with Koga just last chapter.

So she's likely making some stuff up now. Plus you can have multiple emotions at once. She can be stoked and also heartbroken that they'll skip the prom. Their issues didn't suddenly resolve in one chapter.

There's been zero romantic interaction. Neither Koga nor Aya has admitted being sexually attracted to the other in any way...

A chapter title has rarely been so fitting...

Assuming payoff ever comes, Im starting to have my doubts that the author will ever be able to do it satisfactorily with all the 'hype' they've intentionally or unintentionally built up.
