Powerful allegory btw, it's very much a thing to get so used to songs you really like they stop having an effect on you.

Losing my mind over having to wait yet another 7 days though.

That's why I don't like listening a song on repeat. I rarely do it. Otherwise it can get boring. But looking at the lyrics and paying attention to the melody doesn't stop that effect for me, listening to the melody and figuring out the layers of the song makes me appreciate it more.
