Mitsuki seems happy most of the time excluding what happened at school. So don’t think it’s that bad, probably parents that work a lot so she had to be with uncle a lot.

Seems so but then it would be odd he broke up with Kanna because he couldn't leave Mitsuki behind.

If he is her main guardian then...she'd obviously not be left behind and would just have gone to LA with them.

Realy wonder if the actual parents...arent great people and thus why he feels he needed to stay for Mitsuki's sake.

Seems kinda heavy for a series like this to introduce a plotline like that though.
