I don't know about that but I did just read a chapter where Mitsuki finally realizes she's in love with Aya. I'd also like to believe the author isn't enough of sadist to tease us with two highly complementary iconic prom outfits and then not have them being used in a dance sequence together . There's already been the Teenage Dirtbag and Footloose foreshadowing and I still believe that this story will follow through on its premise even if others have lost the faith.

I mean, I thought the same about a different manga (from a different author) where something similar to this happenend... and then they had the two characters not meet again at all for several years (in-universe, the story did a time skip). I felt ready to punch a hole into a wall, and I live in a country with walls not made out of cardboard, but bricks or reinforced concrete.

I don't think there'll be a fake out, or if there is it'll only prolong it by a chapter or two. Getting the feeling the manga's wrapping up soon, too many things feel like they're coming up on their conclusion. Kinda hope I'm wrong, cause this has been a real fun read.
