Miss gorl not very intelligent I see. She’s previously acknowledged that’s she died and was reborn. Therefore, she should understand that there’s no where for her to go back to. The body from her past life is either rotting in the ground or burnt to crisps in a very pretty container. It would make more sense for her to simply grieve and move on than the BS she’s doing now. Also the spirits can communicate with her so why don’t they fill her in?? Seems very mean of them since they know of her affliction where she was not permitted oblivion and the effects that might have.

This forum is filled with either defeatists or losers. There's magic in this world, magic! You bet your ass that I'd be looking for ways back if I was in her position.

By admiting that you'd be trying to go back to your own world, you're admitting that you're the type of person to not accept your current reality and try to adapt to it. You're also prone to name-calling anyone that doesnt see things the same way you do.

To put the ball back in your court, by my POV you're the loser for not being able to accept your current reality. You are the defeatist who can't admit that you've lost and continues playing a game even though everyone else has already moved on.

1. Dont namecall people just because they have a different POV from you.
2. Try to learn to adapt to your current reality more often. There is a place in this world for people like you that cant accept the current reality but you must also be ok with the fact that there are people that are ok with changing and progressing in their new environment.
3. Learn how to loose a fight without retorting that anyone that doesnt is a defeatist. The concept of deafeatism isnt as black and white as your accusations attribute.

Oblivion exists because its purpose is to rid us as humans of our past desires hopes dreams and lingering attachments. She's now displaying just how important oblivion is to the human psyche. Where most protagonists would assess their situation and move on, shes bound to her past. And unable to look at her current situation with a clear, open minded point of view. She ignores the fact that she could have been reborn in a much more unsavoury situation and instead blames others who are simply caring for her for hindering her from progressing in her goals.

I would assume (noting that assuming makes an ass out of the assumer) that anyone that relates with MC needs to become more centred and focus on whats going on in their lives and how to adapt to their current situation without giving up their goals.

Want to get back to your old world? You can still research how to do that without being so ungrateful and rude to the people taking care of you. Want to transmigrate? After all, if you came in there must be a way back out right? That goal can be accomplished without ignoring that you have a loving family that genuinely cares about you.

Heres to hoping that both MC and anyone that relates to MC in her current (as of this chapter) state learns the value of the present. Remains less focused on the past. And uses that information to plan a better future.

@Koriru Everything you said might make sense if this world was like ours, but it's not, so you're just a dumbass. Have a nice day!

Y'all don't understand that her reality IS and will always consist of remembering her past.
This has all happened so quickly for her and you are way too insensitive and robotic to expect her to say 'Oh welp! This is my life now!'

When by magic she came, by magic she could probably leave.
She hasn't come to terms with her death, much less losing her family that she loved, only to plop into this world, what she never wanted.
You're a terrible person to be unable to sympathise with her.
Ungrateful and rude... She didn't ask to be transmigrated, she didn't ask for them to take care of her.
FFS stop reading so much isekai with ppl who aren't realistic.

If I lived a good life that wasn't anywhere near done and I ended up transmigration, YOU BET MY ASS I WAS GOING TO LOOK THROUGH THIS MAGIC AND FIND A WAY HOME.

Yall r too accustomed to these unrealistic mcs who can suddenly 'adapt' to their 'reality' and not give a flying shart about the life they lived for 20+ years, their environment and family.
Sound like people who'd tell someone forced into shattle slavery to 'get over it,' that working the plantation in a 'first world country' is my new reality and I should accept it.
FFS
Stop expecting people to see their own lives from an omniscient perspective when they are clearly emotional and trying to resolve their problems in their own way. People, HUMANS, will make mistakes and learn from them.

And for those saying she should go slowly, she shouldn't from her perspective, because she doesn't know how much time her body has in her original life, if any. She doesn't want to be in her current world and she's well aware that these people 'treasure' her to some extent, so of course she'd take advantage of that.

@cherokeemoon You didn't live in France? You weren't a person who had to hear the language every minute.... When you are forced to hear and struggle to understand a language it comes easier. It's her only way of survival. That's why it's easier for children to learn languages. And despite her not being a real child spiritually, It's not like anyone there speaks her language. So she has no choice. That makes it easier.

Isn't she just a highschooler? Of course she'd try to get back to her own world than moving on.

lmao these people who say the mc is bad.

I personally like her very much, because of how realistic she is being. ofc she wouldnt accept this new reality when she just only live with them for 7 months while she already live with her old family for 17 years, and lol youre all wrong if you think isekai protagonists is always clever.

this girl is still young (she just finished high school) and ofc she would deny the reality and trying her best to go back. no one told her anything, she think she dead but it doesn't seem shes sure about it, thats why she's searching for a way to go back.

I prefer this mc than those isekai mc that like quickly adapt to their lives as fast as lightning. think about it, if people were in her position with a loving background family, rather than a world with strange people you didnt know equipped with a language you can't understand, ofc you want to go back.

come on I dont think just reading books that stored in a normal house could bring you cross the world right? and if those spirits did not give her blesses she would already died again from failing her cuddle.

I feel the cringe but, I really like this MC, the reason its simple, she was attached to her life, suffering grief over losing it its normal. At some point she might understand and reach acceptance... she is dead and IF there is a way to return, she would depriving her family of her presence.

You know, I love to think that this manhwa represents a parent's worst fears:
Constant crying? Yes.
Difficult to feed and change? Yes.
Manages to somehow get out of her crib and get into trouble all the time and cannot be deterred? Yes!!!!

Like, I feel like this is the stuff parents would find ironically funny.

you all really so harsh on MC. she is 17!!!!! a 17 yo girl who suddenly died in vain because of a Karen. some of you are calling her unintelligent, a retard, etc etc when it's just a girl missing her family abd her good life, her life, especially when she still has so much ahead of her because she is still so young.
and suddenly she's in a world totally different from her own, and everything in the new world is related to magic so of course she would try anything to go back.

I love how attached she is to her previous life. We always get those who are abused or lonely but this girl had people she loved and didn't want to leave. And they loved her back in return. So... If you're judging her harshly then you don't understand the confusion, pain, and yearning she's going through. This child is a child. And also, you didn't understand what the spirits said- Oblivion is a gift. Forgetting past lives is a blessing but she didn't get that.

And to say that she should be thankful for the loving family she has now is missing the point. She doesn't recognize them as family because she already has a family that isn't them. That'll take time to process through. It's not something that happens in a blink of an eye. You can't ask for her to let go so easily. Or to let them enter her life when she's not even (completely) ready to admit that she's died and was reborn.

I agree with @Writerfromanotherstar ,
When by magic she came, by magic she could probably leave.

Also, this is like a Korean version of Ascendance of a Bookworm lol in that she is also yearning for books to read. xD Just saying.

@roxanneayy

It is Still Unreasonable for her to overwork her body like that?.
his yearning can wait, but what if she exhaust her self and die then what?
the newborn of her new parents will send their child of to the grave?
her logic and understanding are quite deformed and out of line, she say that her old parents will be sad and be heart broken?,
then what about her new ones?.

she is not acting as a adult and thinking logically.
then she say she is a 20+ old young lady, this is why i hate prideful people, can't accept what already done is done!

@ronnvincent I wouldn't expect rationality to win out during a time of stress. I mean, it's not always like that for people.

Another argument would be, 20 years old is considered adult but not all 20 year olds will act mature. Age is but a number. I've seen even older ones act more like a child than a child.

I also think, she needed time to grieve her own death and that's something none of us (I hope) has gone through. Grieving for someone else's passing is wholly different from your own... which again, I'm not really privy to that experience.

The fl is kinda dumb. I mean shes still a baby and yet shes pushing her body like that. What if she got an accident? Where are the maids? Where is her common sense?
